Bleeker was rescued from ACC NY, the estimate him about 7-8 years old. He was just recently neutered, he is up to date on all shots and microchipped. He is shy at first and needs to adjust to a new home, so needs time to sniff out his surrounding and will come to his people for petting when he feels comfortable. He has some food issues, he hoards his treats in his bed which is not a big deal. He does need to be fed separately if other dogs as he thinks all the food is his so no matter how many bowls are around he runs to all of them and doesn't let anyone else eat. So best to feed him and then put all the food up when finished. But he is a great little guy and does do well with other dogs, you can give all of them treats together and he does fine, I just always watch to make sure. He needs patience and decompression in a new surrounding. |
