Snoopy is about 4 years old and 14 lbs. He came from a pet store and owners dumped in him a kill shelter in NYC. He is scared and will lunge at strangers although he is good in his foster home. He just needs a lot of patience and understanding because he does not understand what has happened to him or why. He is fine with the other dogs in the household, he was with kids in the past, but because of his fear with strangers probably not best to be in a home with kids. Owner received him from a pet shop and had him for 4 years. Owner is surrendering due to personal reasons. Snoopy is reported to have no injuries or health problems. Previously lived with: one adult and two children. Snoopy is reported to be fearful, aggressive and shy for days around strangers. Snoopy has lived with children of ages 9 months and 11 years old. He is reported to be playful, relaxed and respectful. When playing with them, he is gentle. Snoopy has never lived with another dog. However, when playing with them, he is gentle and somewhat rough. Resource guarding: Snoopy is reported to be unbothered when his food or bowl is being touched while eating and toys or objects are being taken away.
